Greg Clark, Jr.

Being a young drummer covering all the bases means staying on the move, playing all the styles and plugging into the music scene on all fronts. Greg Clark brings that energy to every aspect of his music career. He’s performed and recorded with a full spectrum of outstanding musicians including Amos Saint Jean, bassist Gary Grainger, guitarist Sam Gunderson, R&B artist Jamie Jones, CMT finalist Ashley Glasgow, Christian artists Jonathan Nelson and Isaiah Thomas, and bands from rock (Zachary J Band)  to R&B (Spur of the Moment). He’s also appeared at the 2009 Capitol Jazz Festival with artist Rahsaan Patterson, and regularly at Evangelical Cathedral. Greg seems to be playing at every turn, in every venue, with every type of music – and as a left-handed drummer, that’s not always easy, often calling for adapting to right-handed kit setups at a moment’s notice. In 2010, he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and toured the US and Europe backing R&B artist Raheem Devaughn. During the past few years, he's been performing often with Snarky Puppy and making appearances as a clinician. You can find him listed among the top 500 drummers by Drummerworld.

We admire Greg’s energy, his passion for music and his dedication to constant learning. He’s one of those talented musicians who just plain loves to play, any place, any time, any style. It’s the kind of attitude that we think distinguishes the performers who will go farther than talent alone can take them -- an attitude we're sure will keep Greg in forward motion his whole career.
