Jeff Sipe
When Jeff Sipe starts playing, you realize that the precision of his playing and the way he locks into a groove are why he’s so valued by some of the top artists in music. Then he opens up into a solo and your jaw hits the ground. Jeff has worked with Steve Vai, Derek Trucks, Jimmy Herring, Susan Tedeschi, Earl Scruggs, Bela Fleck, Waylon Jennings, Taj Mahal, Keller Williams and Warren Haynes, to name just a few. He’s known as a fusion player, but he’s equally at home in rock, blues and, country. In short, Jeff does it all and he does it extremely well, from the Zambiland Orchestra to the Jerry Garcia Tribute concerts.
You’d think he’d be entitled to bring some ego to the table, but in fact Jeff is a very genuine person and a highly sought-after teacher. These days, we truly enjoy seeing him perform with the extraordinary Jeff Sipe Trio, where he’s clearly having a blast doing what he loves best.
